New blog coming!

I haven’t written anything on this blog for a while. Mostly because I have been keeping busy away from home.

For the last three months I have been in Europe assisting researchers at the University of Fribourg  and CABI in Switzerland studying the population dynamics and genetics of Ambrosia artemisifolia and Ophraella communa in Italy, France and Switzerland.

Here are a few pictures with further explanation in the upcoming blog. STAY TUNED!

Insecticide application to exclude Ophraella communa beetles from marked Ambrosia artemisifolia plants. Is there a difference between plants which have the beetle and those which do not?
